Delete your Heckle account

Delete it yourself, in the app
This is immediate and does not need anyone's help:
- Open Heckle
- Tap your profile picture in the top right
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account
- Confirm, then enter your password
Your account and the data listed below are erased straight away. This cannot be undone.

Delete my account.
We will confirm and delete within 30 days. We may ask you to verify the email address so that nobody else can delete your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account, name, email address and profile photo
- Every alarm you created or received, including voice messages
- Your comments and voice comments
- Your activity feed posts
- Friendships and pending friend requests
- Group memberships and invitations you sent or received
- Notifications, badges, buzzes and challenges
- Streaks and wake-up statistics
- Any reports you filed about other people
- Your device push-notification tokens
What is kept, and for how long
- Reports other people filed about you — kept for up to 12 months so we can act on abuse. These hold a copy of the reported content and your account id, not your profile.
- Purchase and subscription records — held by Google Play and our payment processor, RevenueCat, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete these on your behalf; contact Google Play about purchase data.
- Server logs — automatically discarded within 30 days.
Nothing retained is used to contact you or to rebuild your account.
